BIOGRAPHY

My interest in art was borne out of a lifelong appreciation of sculpture and paintings. I’ve often sketched and occasionally painted people or even more rarely ventured down the road of wood carving, but a desire to create some artwork for my own home from some canvases I found, re-ignited my passion. It enabled me to translate my emotions to canvas, which has evolved as abstract art, and has also been incredibly meditative in the process.

I’ve always enjoyed decorating my home with unique and intricate pieces I’ve found along the way and to reflect my personality in the spaces I’ve lived, but have been looking for a way to extend this creativity and share with others.

The pieces I’ve created are all unique and formed organically and intuitively. I am heavily influenced by my Sri Lankan heritage and my love of travelling to far flung places. Inspired by the four elements, air, water, earth and fire, my experiences, feelings and emotions, the pieces evolve layer by layer, building the colours instinctively.  I’m incredibly proud of each item and I hope that you will be able to gain as much joy from owning a piece of individual art as I have from creating them.
